Cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that works with the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. The goal is to release compression and pressure in those areas which in turn alleviates stress and pain.
Cranial sacral therapy seeks to restore the natural position of the bones and can decrease stress from chronic injuries as well as provide relief from migraine headaches, neck and back pain.
In a 2009 study published in “Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine”, researchers found that individuals with fibromyalgia experienced a significant improvement in pain, quality of life, sleep quality and anxiety after 25 weeks of craniosacral therapy.
Life is too short to live with chronic pain and nagging stress.
